DIRECTIONS
Direction 1 (from Denpasar)
Follow the main road (2 lanes) to Tabanan. After passing the village Kapal turn right in the direction of Singaraja (this is the main road from south to north). Continue in the direction of Bedugul into the mountains. Almost at the highest point at a three fork section turn to the left in the direction of Munduk (magnificent road along the deeper located crater lakes). Through Munduk and Banyuatis follow the road to Mayong. After arriving in Mayong choose the direction of Seririt. After about 300 metres, turn left at the sign of Royal Residence Rangdu into a small lane (Jalan Muntig).
Direction 2 (from Denpasar)
You will pass by the exit to Singaraja and Kapal and follow the road in the direction to Western Bali until a thee fork section at Antosari. Turn right towards Pupuan. In the centre of Pupuan you will turn right towards the Northern coast. This road will lead you ultimately also to Mayong (see further “Arriving in Mayong” at direction 1).
Direction 3 (from Seririt)
The third direction will lead you from Seririt to the south. So you will approach Rangdu from the opposite side than the other two directions above. You will arrive in Seririt form the west (Java, Gilimanuk) or from the east (Singaraja, Lovina). If you arrive from the west, you will take a right turn on the main intersection in the centre and arriving from the east you will take a left. The first village after Desa Ringdikit is Desa Rangdu. This is a long stretched village, with many houses built along the road. You drive all the way through the village. After the houses stop on your left side and a sort of S-turn appears in the road, you will turn right into a small lane, called ,Jalan Muntig. You will also see a sign of Royal Residence Rangdu (pay attention to the traffic coming towards you from the left side!). After about 300 metres, turn left at the sign of Royal Residence Rangdu into a small lane (Jalan Muntig). |
